AJB Bumiputera 1912's Mitra Oetama dollar-denominated product is an insurance program that prepares you to be able to meet the cost of hospital and medical expenses, as well as paying you competitive investment on the insurance premiums paid. It also includes life protection, and flexible payments.

Mitra Oetama is comprehensive, easy and practical.

With Mitra Oetama your premiums (net of risk premium) will increase in value due to investment returns, and at the end of the contract, the accumulated premiums will be transformed into savings that you can withdraw.

In terms of life protection, you are entitled to compensation at 100% (a hundred percent) if the insured passes away. This becomes 200% (two hundred percent) if death was due to an accident.

If you as the insured must be hospitalized, you are also entitled to the cost of hospitalization at 2% (two percent) of coverage per day, beginning on the third day, for a maximum 90 (ninety) days per year.

Mitra Oetama offers a flexible single premium payment system, the amount of which can be increased to generate greater insurance coverage and savings. The initial premium is a minimum of US$ 5,000 (five thousand US dollars), with subsequent premiums starting at a minimum US$ 1,000 (one thousand US Dollars) which can be increased by multiples of US$ 100 (one hundred US dollars). The contract period varies between 3 to 15 years, depending on your needs.

Eligibility
Mitra Oetama is available for those aged between 15 and 60 years. Between the ages of 15 and 50 years, non-medical coverage is available up to maximum of US$ 40,000 (forty thousand US dollars). Above 50, the same insurance is available if you are equipped with the physician's examination and comply with the provisions of the underwriters.
